Add a New Page
To add a new page to your site, go to your Dashboard, open the Page tab and click 'Add New'.
You'll be taken to a new page where you can write a new post. Here's what you can do:
Title#
Every page needs a title. It can be anything you want.
Slug#
The slug is the actual link to your post. It will be added automatically after you've added a title. It doesn't need to be the same as the title though, so you can change it if you want.
Content#
All pages are edited in Tail builder. After publishing a page you can go straight into editing mode by clicking Launch Tail Builder.
Publish#
The Publish box on the right side allows you to publish your page immediately or later, save it as a draft, change its visibility and preview the page. When you change its visibility to private that means only you can see it. If you set a password to the page then anyone with the password can view the page.
Page Attributes#
This box has three options. Parent, template and order.
You can set a parent page to order your pages accordingly. This is mostly for personal preferences but can be useful when setting up menus too.
Template, not to be confused with Tail Builder's templates, let's you choose between the default template (has a header and footer), a template without header and footer (the only visible content will be of the page itself), and sidebar (a menu with widgets on either the right or left side of your site).
Featured Image#
The Featured Image is an image attached to the page which can be seen on top of every page (unless disabled). We recommend setting a featured image for every page. Featured images are automatically shown when sharing links on social media. They'll make your page stand out.
Page SEO Settings#
These settings affect how your page will be shown by search engines and social media. SEO settings are automatically completed but you can choose to override these. You can also choose for the page not to be indexed by your site and search engines, or to redirect to another post or page.
